Requirements:  Four year degree in Community Health, Health Administration, nursing or public or business administration or other qualifying experience. 

Job Description:  Performs responsible administrative, financial and personnel work in the operation of the Jefferson County health Department.  Incumbent is responsible for the development and implementation of Local Health Services; assures compliance with Federal, State, and local laws; interprets program needs and objectives; incumbent is held responsible for the efficient and effective utilization of and personnel resources in the delivery of Health Services.  Supervises Professional, Technical and Clerical personnel.  Reports to the Local Board of Health and the Health Officer.  Performs other related work assignments as required.
