Jefferson County
Quick
Response
Team
Jefferson County’s QRT is homebased at the Jefferson County Health Department. Our team consists of peer recovery supports specialists, nurses and medical providers that can help with assisting, providing, or referring out for addiction and recovery services. We are here to help individuals combating substance abuse disorders and families affected by a loved one struggling with addiction.
Community Services
We help participants connect with services and local resources such as the local food pantries, housing, and local shelters.
Narcan/Naloxone
Naloxone training and kits are available free through the health department. We provide training and distribution to individuals, community groups, and organizations.
Treatments
Suboxone, Hepatitis C treatments, xylazine wound care, support groups, and psychotherapy are all available to participants that need help until a long term solution is obtained
Social Services
We can help participants obtain IDs, employment and Medicaid. We also are able to assist with transportation services for participants that need a ride to their treatment services.
Referrals
We provide referrals for participants in an addiction crisis to receive treatment and recovery services both locally and statewide.
Peer Recovery Support
We have peer recovery coaches to help assist participants during their crisis and enable them to find solutions to reach recovery.
