This Testing is available to all individuals in Jefferson County, including asymptomatic individuals. Proof of insurance is NOT required. Attendees should bring identification, such as a driver’s license or other proof of address, to help in returning test results. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Testing is conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment is needed, but we recommend pre-registering at wv.getmycovidresult.com – creating an account before you go to the testing site will help you get tested faster and make it easier for you to access your results. This is a diagnostic PCR test and will only show if you have a current infection, not if you have previously been infected and recovered. Please direct any questions to Jefferson County Health Dept, 304-728-8416.
