The Center for Disease Control recommends that everyone 6 months and older get a yearly flu shot by the end of October. Starting today we will be taking walk-ins for flu shots on Mondays from 9:00 – 11:00 AM and Fridays from 9:00 – 11:00 AM & 1:00 – 3:00 PM. If you need other immunizations such as pneumonia or tetanus please schedule an appointment by calling 304-728-8416. Fluarix (3 years and older) – $25 – This shot is administered into the muscle and may cause some soreness.
Intradermal (18-64 years) – $25 – This shot is administered just under the outer layer of skin and may cause slight redness and/or itchiness around the injection site.
High Dose (65 years and older) – $55 – This vaccine may have a higher efficacy rate in those over 65 years old.
Pediatric/Infant (6-35 months) – $25 – This shot is administered into the muscle and may cause some soreness.
