WVU Medicine East is helping JCHD schedule appointments for this week’s vaccine clinics (3/1-3/5). They are sending emails to anyone that had an email address listed on our waitlist. The email will say “WV COVID-19 Vaccine”. There will be a link in the email to use for scheduling your appointment. If you have already received your COVID vaccine, please reply back to the email, so they can remove you from future emails. They are also using a call center to call anyone that did not have an email address listed. Emails started going out the morning of 03/02/21 and will continue to be sent through 03/03/21.
After we have scheduled everyone from our waitlist, they will move on to Jefferson County residents ages 65 and older in Everbridge (the statewide pre-registration list). If you have not already done so, register online here www.vaccinate.wv.gov or by calling 833-734-0965.
