Free Narcan Training at 3:30pm 10/10/17

West Virginia is in crisis – we now have one of the highest overdose rates in the US. In 2015, people in Jefferson County died from overdose at a rate of more than one per month. Some of these deaths were preventable, had the individual been given the opioid overdose reversal drug naloxone, or Narcan. Please come to a free community-wide training on how to administer this life-saving medicine to an overdose victim. The training will be held at Jefferson County Health Department on Friday Tuesday*, October 10, 2017 at 3:30pm. Participants will receive free naloxone nasal spray.
