To help make sure every student gets vaccinated on time, JCHD will be at Harpers Ferry Middle School on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 1:30 to 3:30pm. No appointment needed, just walk in!

This is the same day, time, and location that Harpers Ferry Family Medicine will be doing free sports physicals for Jefferson County students.

Parents MUST bring:
• Up-to-date shot record— If you don’t have a copy check with your child’s pediatrician, the last medical office where they received shots, or their school.
• Health Insurance card(s)— Any and all insurance information including Medicaid. Uninsured patients under 19 are covered by the Vaccines for Children Program.
• Your driver’s license (or other proof of identity and address)

Incoming seventh and twelfth graders in West Virginia must have Tdap and meningococcal vaccines before school starts. As summer goes by, fewer appointments will be available at clinics, doctors’ offices, and the health department. If your child doesn’t get the required shots in time, they won’t be allowed to attend school! Don’t wait, vaccinate!
